The series 200 had run for the Tohoku and Joetsu line in 1981. This vehicle and railway infrastructure have a function to protect from snow because it snows much along the railway. The maximum speed is 240km/h. It used to run on Tohoku and Joetsu Shinkansen, but this series has disappeared in 2013.
