After this country had been controlled by France as French Indochina first, it was split into North and South by World War II. Via Vietnam war, then is founded as socialist republic in 1976. Recently, the country accepts capitalism like China, the economy is developing. Prices are 1/3, it is not very low prices, but there are much fraud. You can see women who wear traditional clothing 'Aozai' in any tourist places, but ordinary people don't wear it usually. (8/03,5/18)
