It has run since March, 2004 in Kyushu which is southern Japan. The train name has a traditional Japanese express train name TSUBAME (the swallow). Kyushu Shinkansen is shortening for half time between Yatsushiro and Kagoshima. The acceleration is very fast because the vehicle has 6 cars and all cars have the motor.
